About us

ABOUT

We are an agricultural family company founded in the year 1.960 dedicated to the cultivation of sugar cane and fruit trees, as well as the management of livestock in our farms located in the Cauca River Valley, Colombia.

We currently have 150 direct and indirect employees focused on our 3 business units: Sugar Cane, Fruits (Mango and Lemon Tahiti) and Livestock (Brangus).

Gold Terra has a business model differentiated basically by the talent of our collaborators, the location of our farms that have an exceptional climate for the cultivation of different agricultural products and the good relationship with the interest groups in the different areas where we have a presence.

History

Gold Terra formerly called Agropecuaria Rojas Ocampo, was founded in 1.960 after several years of investments in the agricultural sector especially in Valle del Cauca. Already in this year we had several farms dedicated to the cultivation of sugar cane and the breeding and raising of Brahman cattle.

During all this time and until the year 2012 we were dedicated to the cultivation of sugar cane, managing a cultivable area of 1,500 hectares. As of this year we made the decision to focus our growth on the cultivation of tropical fruits (Mango and Lime), therefore we dedicate all our efforts to plant 250 hectares in these fruits to be harvested and marketed directly by us.

In 2015 we became Gold Terra, the parent company that brings together all the group's agricultural activities. This name comes from the need to communicate to our new generations the importance of History and the Roots we have with our beloved Earth... A Golden, prosperous and generous Land that makes our lives happy with its valuable fruits.
